4-H Youth Education Program provides children and young adults ages 5 to 18 the opportunity to learn skills they need to be productive members of society, good citizens and leaders of tomorrow. 4H maintains an herb garden, has cooking classes using herbs and will be holding a high tea serving cucumber sandwiches with herbs. Their activities are funded solely from donations. The Society can stipulate our donation be used to promote herbs.
Daytona Beach State College offers a culinary program.  Herbs and fresh foods are used extensively in the recipes.  $500 will buy 10 uniforms and will service a student for up to 3 years.
Ormond Beach Library - Community Seed Library. Ormond Beach Library maintains a “seed library.”  They are required by regulations to purchase commercially raised seeds.  They divide these up for free distribution at the seed library.  They rely totally on donations and would be glad to spend our donation on herbs.
Ormond Beach Public Library – Book Donation  The Society has donated herb related books to the library for the past several years.
