Welcome to the Seaside Herb Society 2014 Member Survey

It’s important that Society activities meet member expectations. Please let us know what you would like by clicking on the boxes next to the statements you agree with. Please also provide suggestions for improvement where prompted. If your desires or concerns aren’t specifically addressed below, please give your feedback in the Other Feedback section at the bottom of the survey.

Monthly Meetings *

The time allocated to the business meeting is acceptable We should continue to host tastings of featured herbs. We should continue to have monthly speakers. I would like to add field trips to the program schedule. I would like to add hands-on workshops to the program schedule. I would like to spend more time on growing and caring for herbs.

Member participation requirements are acceptable. SHS should continue having the Fall Plant Sale.

Spring Faire *

Member participation requirements are acceptable. SHS should continue having the Spring Faire. Spring Faire should continue to have an education focus. Website/Facebook Suggestions *

Yearbook - SHS provides members with a 3 ring binders. Each year the President’s Message, Officers, Committees, Past Presidents, Projected Budget, Calendar of Events, and Membership are updated, printed and re-distributed. *

SHS should continue distributing printed Yearbook changes SHS should post changing information to the SHS Member Website and maintain static info in the binder.

Christmas Party *

SHS should continue the potluck Christmas party. SHS should choose a different venue.

The Board should continue to propose SHS contributions for member vote. SHS members should submit contribution suggestions for member vote.
